Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. About this policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations and project changes are handled for services provided by Falak Forge Media, the media production brand of Falak Forge LLC. Our services include, but are not limited to, video editing, motion graphics, color grading and general post-production work delivered to clients worldwide.
Because our work is highly customized and delivered digitally, this policy is designed to be fair both to our clients and to the time and resources invested by the studio.
2. Nature of our services
All services provided by Falak Forge Media are:
- Custom and project-based – each edit, grade or motion piece is created specifically for the client’s brief.
- Digital in nature – we deliver files, exports or project links, not physical products.
- Collaborative – the process usually includes feedback rounds and revisions before final approval.
For this reason, once significant work has been completed or final files have been delivered, full refunds are generally not possible. However, we do offer fair partial refunds in certain situations, as described below.
3. Project bookings & payments
Projects are typically confirmed through written agreement (email, contract or proposal approval) and may require an upfront payment or deposit before work begins. Standard arrangements are:
- 50% deposit to book the slot and begin work, and
- 50% balance due on delivery of the approved final version, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Deposits secure time in our schedule and cover early research, preparation and initial editing.
4. Cancellation by the client
If you need to cancel a project, please notify us as soon as possible at info@falakforgemedia.online. Depending on the stage of the project, the following will normally apply:
- Before work has started: If no creative work has begun, we may offer a refund of up to 100% of any deposit paid, minus any non-recoverable costs (for example, third-party assets or licenses purchased specifically for your project).
- After work has started, but before first preview is delivered: A partial refund of the deposit may be considered. The amount retained will reflect the time and resources already invested.
- After a preview or draft has been delivered: The initial deposit becomes non-refundable, as a substantial part of the creative work has already been completed.
- After final approval and delivery: Once you have approved the final version and the final files have been delivered, the project is considered complete and no refunds will be issued.
5. Cancellation by Falak Forge Media
In rare circumstances (for example, illness, technical issues or unforeseen events), Falak Forge Media may need to cancel or reschedule a project. In such cases:
- We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible, and
- We will either reschedule the work to a mutually acceptable time, or
- Offer a fair refund for any portion of the project that has been paid for but not yet completed.
6. Revisions, feedback & approval
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds, which will be clearly stated in our proposal, quote or email agreement. Within these revision rounds, we will make reasonable changes to align the work with the agreed brief.
If additional revisions are requested beyond what was originally agreed, these may be billed separately at our standard rates. Requests for refund based only on a change of creative preference after the agreed work has been delivered are generally not accepted.
7. Non-refundable items
The following items are normally non-refundable:
- Completed and delivered editing, color grading or motion graphics work.
- Rush fees or priority scheduling surcharges.
- Third-party costs such as stock footage, music licenses, plugins or fonts purchased specifically for your project.
- Monthly retainers or ongoing service packages that have already been used or partially used within the billing period.
8. Eligibility for partial refunds
Partial refunds may be considered case by case when:
- A project is cancelled by the client for personal or business reasons, and
- Only part of the agreed scope has been completed at the time of cancellation.
In such situations, we will calculate a fair amount based on the work already done, time invested, assets purchased and any scheduling limitations caused by the booking.
9. Delivery issues & technical problems
If there is a technical problem with the delivered files (for example, wrong resolution, export error, missing audio), please inform us within 7 days of receiving the files. We will correct any issues that are the result of our error at no extra cost.
Technical issues caused by platform changes, third-party services or client-side tools (for example, social media compression, editing in third-party software, or streaming platform policies) are outside of our direct control, but we will always do our best to help troubleshoot where possible.
10. Chargebacks & disputes
We strongly encourage clients to contact us first if there is any concern about billing, quality or delivery. Opening a payment dispute or chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue directly can delay the process for everyone involved.
Where a chargeback is initiated after work has been delivered, Falak Forge Media reserves the right to provide evidence of the project agreement, communication, previews and final files to the payment provider or bank.

Please include your name, contact details, project title, invoice or reference number and a clear description of your request. We will review your message and respond as soon as possible.
12. Changes to this policy
Falak Forge LLC may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or internal processes. The latest version will always be available on our official website falakforgemedia.online. Continued use of our services after changes are posted will be taken as acceptance of the updated policy.
